Vera Duarte Catarina Duarte is an associate at Belzuz Abogados, S.L.P., having started her collaboration with the firm in 2008.
Throughout her professional career, she has focused her activity in the area of Labour Law, providing legal advice on a daily basis to various clients, both national and international, supporting the daily management of their human resources, whether by advising on their daily issues, or by advising on restructuring operations from a human resources perspective, or in the context of inspection and administrative offense proceedings.
She has extensive experience in building staff frameworks for newly established companies, implementing good business practices (drafting internal regulations, plans for evaluating differences in remuneration, and codes of conduct), assist in staff restructuring operations in their various types, implementing worker secondment schemes, conducting labour audits, conducting disciplinary proceedings, and monitoring inspection and administrative offense proceedings.
It is also a speaker at seminars/webinars on Portuguese Labour Law.
