Ricardo Meireles Vieira is a senior associate at Belzuz Abogados SLP and head of the Porto office, where he joined in 2016.
He works mainly in the areas of insurance law, litigation and health law.
In particular, in insurance law, he has been advising insurance companies on regulatory and procedural matters, both in implementation processes in the Portuguese market and in the review of insurance products and claims management.
In the litigation area, in addition to managing cases in the insurance area, he has extensive experience in civil liability issues (contractual, insolvency law, road accidents, labour accidents and credit recovery), and in particular in the area of Health Law, in all aspects of this area of activity, namely civil and criminal liability, medical negligence, both from the point of view of the injured patient and from the point of view of health professionals and insurers.
